The Borough is dominated by increasing number of children; the ethnic diversity of the population is increasing and the youth population is growing rapidly.

We plan to identify professionals to render services on preparation of CV and interview skills to support people that are out of job; organise personal development trainings for the youths to build up their confidence and maximise their potential to excel in life; training on how to bake cake as a source of building skills and providing means of livelihood for people in the community.

Secondly, we plan to organise and support parenting training programme for families, with the hope of promoting good moral and family values in the community which we believe would eradicate truancy amongst the young, another root cause of poverty and unemployment.

We believe that these programs will foster commitment among the different age groups and that will promote pro-social friendships, strong interpersonal skills, empower the youth to make positive changes in their lives and reassert a sense of hope in the future.

Only through personal relationships can a sense of individual responsibility be re-established that will give youth the commitment to follow through on path to adulthood with a sense of pride and accomplishment.
